Happy Star Wars Day! If you want to watch the movies but don’t have access to your copies, you’ll want to know if the Star Wars movies are on Amazon.

May the 4th is all about Star Wars. Of course, you have your own copies at home, but sometimes you’re not there to put one of the movies on. Or you don’t have them to educate someone new about all things Star Wars.

So, you’ll want to watch them online. Streaming services are preferred, but there may be other ways to watch online. Are the Star Wars movies on Amazon? Let’s take a look.

The Star Wars movies are not on Amazon Prime Video

Sadly, the movies aren’t available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. All the Star Wars movies are available on Disney+. This is where you can find The Mandalorian and more.

It’s very unlikely that the movies will head to Amazon Prime Video for free. Disney+ probably isn’t going anywhere, and even if it does, Disney also owns Hulu. There is simply no need for Disney to license the movies to other streaming platforms anymore, although never say “never.”

Get the movies on Digital

What about on Digital? You can get all nine of the main three trilogies and various spin-off movies on Amazon Video.

You’ll need to buy all the movies individually, but they will be added to your Amazon Library. There’s no need to buy them again, and you’ll have them wherever you have your laptop, tablet, or even phone.

For those who haven’t got the movies on DVD and Blu-ray, the boxsets are available. Whatever you think of each of the Star Wars movies, having the full collection is worth it for the whole Skywalker story.
