Did you like the Tom and Jerry movie? It was great fun for the kids, and it’s time to treat them by owning it at home. Tom and Jerry is on DVD next month.
There are more and more movies for families coming with a mixture of live-action and animation. And many of them are based of characters of the past. The latest Tom and Jerry movie is one of those.
The movie now has a DVD and Blu-ray release date. Get ready for Tuesday, May 18, which is about the date that we predicted back in February when it was released.
You’ll be able to get the movie on Digital around that time too. The movie is already available to rent on Amazon Video, but we’re getting ready for the purchase release date.
What is Tom and Jerry about?
The famous rivalry is back. Jerry moves to New York’s finest hotel the night before there’s a huge wedding. Naturally, the event planner wants to get rid of the mouse, so hires a cat to do so. That cat? It’s only Tom!
We all know what things are like with this cat-and-mouse duo. There is plenty of mayhem and disaster as Tom tries his hardest to catch and kill Jerry once and for all. The mayhem now has a direct effect on the event planner, along with the wedding and the hotel!
Tom and Jerry doesn’t have the greatest reviews, but it will depend on who you talk to. If you’re looking for something the kids will enjoy, the movie is probably perfect. It doesn’t have as many chase scenes as the original animated movies and show, but it’s good for a bit of fun.
