What is The Father about?
The movie follows a man who suffers from dementia. He doesn’t want his daughter to help him, and the two grow further and further apart. It doesn’t help that his illness makes him doubt everyone around him.
He needs to figure out some sort of peace in his illness. If he doesn’t, he runs the risk of never seeing how much he means to his family.
There are some powerful but heartbreaking moments throughout the film. This may be triggering for those who are going through something similar at this time, and you’ll definitely want to have the tissues ready. You’ll certainly go through a journey watching it.
