The ninth Outlander book isn’t even out yet, but it’s already made the list of most sold Amazon books based on pre-orders. Here’s a look at the full list.

The addition shouldn’t be that surprising. The release date for Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone came out last week, so of course, fans of the novels were going to flock to their favorite book sites to buy. While the novel is only available via pre-orders, they still count for Amazon’s list.

We’ll likely see the book drop off in a couple of weeks. However, it’ll be back up there when the book is officially released in November.

There were plenty of other new books to join the list, too, with most of them newly released. Ocean Prey by John Sandford and The Devil’s Hand by Jack Carr made it into the Top 5 after being the two new books on the list of most read Amazon books this week.

Half the list of books is new

In fact, there were 10 new books on the list during the week. That makes up half of the entire list! Carr had a second book on the list, The Terminal List. That’s not surprising considering the book is being adapted into a series starring Chris Pratt with a cast that keeps growing.

The Crown of Gilded Bones by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Sooley by John Grishamand The Venice Sketchbook by Rhys Bowen were among the new books joining the list.

And the new books did lead to some others dropping off the list. Win by Harlan Coben lost 13 places and landed in 19th place, while The Hill We Climb by Amanda Gorman lost 10 places to land in 17th place.
