April was on the quiet side for Amazon Originals. May is still quiet, but there are a few more options to watch. Here are all five Originals on Prime in May.

It’s not easy for streaming services just yet. Very little was able to film around this time last year, and that’s meant a lot of projects are still in the filming stages. Some have made it to post-production, but the level of detail needed for their genres has led to still a delay.

That’s why there are just five Amazon Originals arriving during May 2021. This isn’t too bad for Amazon Prime Video, although we had started to see more toward the end of 2020.

There’s a good selection of original content coming to Amazon in May 2021. Here’s a look at the full list of releases.

Pink: All I Know So Far and more Amazon Originals coming next month

This list is in release date order.

The Boy from Medellín

Matthew Heineman brings us a portrait of J Balvin, one of the biggest international music stars. We get a look inside him preparing for the latest and most important concert of his entire career. He’s heading back to his hometown, Medellín, Colombia, to a sold-out stadium show.

As he prepares, he faces anxiety and depression. We get a look at what the stress did in the run-up to the performance.

Stream The Boy from Medellín from May 7.

The Underground Railroad

If you loved the Colson Whitehead novel of the same name, you’ll want to get ready for the limited series from Barry Jenkins. The Underground Railroad is one of the Amazon Originals for May 2021.

The series follows Cora Randall, a slave who makes a bid for freedom. She heads to the Underground Railroad, something she thought was just a metaphor. It turns out there’s a real railroad underground the Antebellum South.

Watch the series on May 14.

P!nk: All I Know So Far

This is a good month for music fans. P!NK will take us on a journey into one of her tours. It’s the 2019 “Beautiful Trauma” world tour, which saw her welcoming in audiences as she balanced being a mom wife, and performer.

The documentary gives us a look at some of the performances, but it’s mostly about the behind-the-scenes activities. It’s time to let down the curtain.

Stream P!nk: All I Know So Far on May 21.

Solos

Feeling disconnected from the world outside? Feeling isolated? It’s something that we all go through, but even during those moments, we’re actually connected to others through the human experience.

That’s something Solos takes us through. It’s a seven-part anthology series to explore everything that life has to offer us; everything it means to be human. That includes the humor but also the heartbreak.

Watch the episodes on May 21.

Panic

For those who need high school drama, you’ll need to wait until the end of the month. Panic is the title of the game within the movie. Nobody knows how it was created, but it’s a game that everyone considers when they’re graduating.

This is a chance for people to leave their fears behind and have the chance to win a life-changing amount of money. Only one can live, but will all survive?

Stream Panic on May 28.
