There isn’t much in the way of TV shows on Amazon throughout May 2021. However, there are three shows worth looking out for.

This is the first month in about a year that there are now samplings from the Amazon Channels arriving. It is a shame. The samplings offered some great content, with the option of subscribing to the channels to check out other seasons of the same show. And that also led to us finding some other excellent shows on the same Channels.

However, there are still some TV shows on Amazon Prime Video worth checking out. The three on this list are all the Amazon Original Series arriving to Prime during the month of May.

There is something for all interests. Let’s take a look at your options.

3 TV shows on Amazon Prime Video you need to check out next month

The Underground Railroad

We start with one of the most highly anticipated TV shows on Amazon in May. The Underground Railroad‘s trailer gave us a beautiful look at the series, based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel of the same name by Colson Whitehead. Barry Jenkins is the man behind bringing this story to life.

The limited series follows Cora Randall, who makes a desperate bid for freedom. She’s a slave in the Antebellum South and has heard stories about the Underground Railroad. Initially, she thinks that the term is a metaphor, but what if there really were tunnels and railways under the soil?

All episodes will be available on Friday, May 14.

Solos

If you love anthology shows, Solos is the one to watch. It takes a look at everything that it means to be human, including the heartbreak, the strange, and the hilarious moments in life. This could be just what you need if you’re feeling the isolation of the pandemic.

Solos will take us into the present and the future, illuminating how all humans are connected even when we feel at our loneliest and most isolated.

All episodes are streaming on Friday, May 21.

Panic

Finally, one of the shows on Amazon worth waiting for is Panic. The one-hour drama series follows graduating seniors in the forgotten town of Carp, Texas. All seniors have the chance to win a life-changing amount of money. All they need to do is face their deepest secrets in a game of “Panic.”

Only one can win. And yes, lives are put on the line for this.

Watch all episodes on Friday, May 28.
