Most of the Top 10 on the list of most read Amazon books remained the same between April 18 and 24, 2021. There was one notable change.

Two new books made it to the list during the week. The first was Ocean Prey by John Sandford, which entered in 10th place. Of course, that knocked one of the books out of the Top 10.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling dropped into 11th place, and that pushed The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett down into 12th place.

That wasn’t the only movement on the list thanks to the second new book on the list. The Devil’s Hand by Jack Carr entered the list for the first time in 13th place, meaning Harlan Coben’s Win lost two places instead of one.

A reentry and movement up the list during the week

There was one new entry to note on the list of most read Amazon books for the week. After dropping out a couple of weeks ago, American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins reentered the list in 20th place.

Didn’t Dune take that spot last week? It did, but it’s not lost a spot on the list. Instead, it was one of the books to gain a spot on the list during the week. The Rose Code by Kate Quinn and Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson also gained one spot each on the list.

It’s certainly been an interesting week for the second half of the list.
