City of Lies coming to DVD and Blu-ray in June 2021

City of Lies is based on the novel Labryinth by Randall Sullivan. Starring Johnny Depp and Forest Whitaker, it forces you to answer the question of whether the crime or the cover-up is the worst thing to do.
The story follows the murder of the iconic rap artist the Notorious B.I.G. It’s all about the investigation into it, with Depp playing the LAPD detective, Russell Poole, who is determined to get to the bottom of the murder. He’s spent 20 years trying to figure it out.
Meanwhile, journalist Jack Jackson (Whitaker) also wants to get to the bottom of the case. He teams up with Poole to get to the truth, exploring why this case still remains cold after all this time. What is it that a secretive division of the LAPD holds onto to make sure the case remains cold?
