MacGyver Season 4 DVD release date set for June 2021

It’s been quite a wait for MacGyver Season 4 to come to DVD and Blu-ray. The MacGyver Season 4 DVD release date is set for June 2021.

It really has been a wait. MacGyver Season 5 is almost over, and we’re only just finding out when the fourth season will make it to DVD and Blu-ray.

Part of the reason for this is because the season only premiered at the start of 2020 rather than being one of the fall shows. However, it still finished at the usual time, and Season 5 premiered in the fall.

Whatever the reason for the wait, it’s almost over. However, the release isn’t going to be in time for the MacGyver series finale, which will air on Friday, April 30 at 8/7c on CBS.

When is the MacGyver Season 4 DVD release date?

The official MacGyver Season 4 DVD release date is set for Tuesday, June 8, 2021. It isn’t available for pre-order at the time of writing this with the release only just being announced. You’ll want to keep an eye on that on Amazon.

You can get the fourth season on Amazon Video if you can’t wait for it to come to DVD. It’s been available on Digital since the episodes aired on CBS back in 2020.

MacGyver Season 4 is the first season without George Eads. It introduces Henry Ian Cusick’s Russ Taylor, a former MI6 agent who recruits Mac and the rest of the Phoenix Foundation when he finds out there’s a bioweapon that is set to be used to attack a major U.S. city. The problem is he doesn’t know what the organization is.

When will MacGyver Season 5 come to DVD and Blu-ray?

It’s going to be a while before the final season will make it to DVD. At least, that’s likely the case based on recent releases. For example, MacGyver Season 3 didn’t come to DVD until January 2020, around the time of the fourth season premeire!

We’re possibly looking at this time next year for MacGyver Season 5 coming to DVD and Blu-ray.
