We start with the release date, which isn’t known. We don’t even know if the show is renewed.

If Amazon and Channel 4 do renew the series, we could be looking at about 14–18 months for the new season to arrive. That means June 2022 at the earliest.

British TV shows can take longer as the contracts don’t have quite the same setup as in the U.S.

Frank of Ireland Season 2 cast

Brian and Domhnall Gleeson will return to the series if it is renewed. They’re not just the stars of the show, but they’ve created it. There is no Frank of Ireland Season 2 without them.

What about the rest of the cast? We could see everyone returning. This isn’t a show that left us with a lot of near-death cliffhangers. It’s a comedy not a drama, so there’s no need to worry about characters not returning.
