Wondering what to watch on Amazon Prime Video this week? There are some great TV shows and movies on Amazon, and here’s what to watch from April 12–18, 2021.

There isn’t too much arriving throughout the week on Amazon Prime Video and IMDb TV. There’s certainly more than we got in March, but things are still on the quiet side.

The pandemic has a lot to blame for this. Filming was put on hold, and it’s led to a lot of Amazon Originals being pushed back in terms of potential release dates. Hopefully, things will start picking up soon.

For now, we have a look at what’s good to watch this week.

3 shows and movies on Amazon this week

There are two releases on Amazon Prime Video and one release on IMDb TV. Remember that IMDb TV is Amazon’s free, ad-supported streaming service.

Burden

When an orphan raised with the KKK leaves with his girlfriend, he wants to see a brighter future. That’s not allowed to happen. Instead, the Klan comes after him, his girlfriend, and her son to get revenge.

The three turn to a Black congregation for help. Can they forgive the former KKK member and protect them?

Watch on Wednesday, April 14.

Wander

A private eye is hired to investigate a suspicious death in Wander. This private eye is paranoid with a troubled past. That past is about to haunt him when he feels like a case is connected to the cover-up that led to his daughter’s death.

It has an outstanding cast and is one that you’ll want to pay close attention to.

Watch on Friday, April 16.

Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant

If you’re looking for something a little more fantastical, you’ll want to turn to IMDb TV. It’s the last of the shows and movies on Amazon for the week.

A couple of boys head to a circus just in town. The circus is run by a vampire, and the two boys find their lives in danger because of it.
