When is Them Season 2 coming to Amazon Prime Video?

Them: Covenant is now available to binge-watch. You’ve possibly already worked your way through it and now you want Them Season 2.

The first season of the anthology horror series from Lena Waithe and Little Marvin has certainly been outstanding. It brings feelings of Get Out, Us, and even a little American Horror Story. Naturally, you want more.

For those who need good news first, Them Season 2 is officially happening. When Amazon initially ordered the series, it was a two-season order. That’s how much Amazon knew this show would connect with audiences.

Now all eyes are on when the second season will arrive. Also, what will it be about?

Will Them Season 2 come to Amazon in 2021?

The good thing about the initial two-season order is that the writers could get to work on the second season as soon as the first was done. However, there are no signs that filming has started yet.

While there is a little bit of hope Them Season 2 could arrive on Amazon Prime Video in 2021, it’s very unlikely. We’re probably looking at April 2022 at the very earliest. In fact, Amazon shows can take 14-18 months in the majority of cases between seasons (and that’s not looking at the breaks because of the pandemic) so we’re looking at June 2022 or later.

There’s no telling what the second season is going to be about. This is an anthology series, so the story of the Emory family is done. Will the series be a little like American Horror Story where there are crossovers? That’s unclear, but it’s possible that it’s more of a straight-cut anthology with a completely different story in a completely different time period.
