The official release date for Them: Covenant is Friday, April 9. It will be available by midnight in your local area.
However, it’s a global original, and this brings a lot of excellent news. The drops happen at midnight GMT. Thanks to time zones, those of us in North America get the chance of watching the episodes a little earlier than expected.
Look out for all episodes of Them: Covenant to drop on Thursday, April 8 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. There’s no guarantee that the release will happen this early, but there has been a precedent for it.
What to expect on Them: Covenant
The series is set in 1953 and follows a Black family that moves into an all-white neighborhood. That is sure to set the tone for the series. After all, segregation was a big thing back then, and white people felt threatened by Black people moving into their neighborhoods. There’s still a problem with it for some!
However, the Emory family has more to deal with then just the threats from the outside. Usually, behind closed doors a family can take refuge. They can lean on each other for support.
That’s not going to be the case here. A supernatural force threatens the family from the inside. Think of it as a little like His House on Netflix.
Can the Emory family fight against all the forces—both natural and otherworldly—that threaten to tear them apart? They certainly have one hell of a fight on their hands.

The good news is this isn’t a one-and-done. While it’s an anthology series, so this story is finished, Amazon has already picked up the second season. We just need to wait to find out what the story will be.
