When is Godzilla vs. Kong coming to DVD and Blu-ray?

Godzilla vs. Kong is currently in theaters and on HBO Max. Now you’ll want to know if it’s coming to DVD and Blu-ray, and if so, when?

There’s no reason to believe that Godzilla vs. Kong won’t head to DVD and Blu-ray at some point. While Warner Bros. is opting for a less-than-usual release format during 2021, we have still had movies head to DVD.

The process for Wonder Woman 1984 was pretty much the same as usual. It took three months to go from theaters/HBO Max to DVD.

We can expect a similar timeframe for other theatrical/HBO Max releases, including Godzilla vs. Kong. With the theatrical release date on March 31, we’re looking at around June 29 for the DVD release date.

Is Godzilla vs. Kong good?

Naturally, you’ll want to know if the movie is worth watching before you buy it. While critics are positive, audiences have enjoyed it more. It is, however, Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes.

This is one of those movies that was review bombed by some of the Zack Snyder fans. It’s okay to ignore those reviews. Look out for those who have actually watched the movie, who share praise for the creative camerawork and just the pure fun of the movie.

If you enjoyed previous Kong and Godzilla movies like Skull Kingdom and King of the Monsters, this is most definitely something worth watching.

The good news is you don’t have to risk a lot to experience the movie first. It’s available on HBO Max until the end of April, so just make sure you have that subscription running.
