The big binge-watch of this weekend is Invincible on Amazon Prime Video. Now all eyes are on the future. Will Invincible Season 2 happen?

The first three episodes of Invincible Season 1 are now available. The rest of the episodes will release weekly. This is a pattern that’s happening with a few shows, and usually, it’s at the request of the creators rather than Amazon.

It is a little early to start looking at a second season of the series, but those first three episodes were great. There’s no doubt that you want more. And you’d rather work through the rest of the season with the knowledge that the finale is not going to leave us hanging forever.

Amazon hasn’t renewed Invincible Season 2…yet

When Amazon picked up the series, it was only for one season. That doesn’t mean there isn’t going to be a second season. This is something that Amazon will be considering right now.

While shows like Carnival Row and The Boys got renewals ahead of series premieres, not every Amazon show gets that. Amazon wants to see that the risk is worth the reward. The best way to get this show renewed is to keep watching.

This isn’t the first time the streamer has done a weekly release for a new series. The Romanoffs was released weekly and that didn’t get the attention Amazon hoped. We hope that Steven Yuen’s series will have had more promotion and more interest for viewers to tune in.
