Frank of Ireland on Amazon gets release date and official trailer

We knew Frank of Ireland was coming in April 2021, but not exactly when. Amazon has now released the trailer, which gives us the exact release date.

If you’re looking for great comedy, you’ll want to get ready for Frank of Ireland on Amazon. The trailer tells us everything we need to know about why everyone is going to enjoy the series.

When Amazon released the list of April shows, this was one of those shows on the list with a TBD date. Amazon has now found a place to pop it in the schedule. Get Friday, April 16 in your diary. All episodes will drop at once.

While there are only three Amazon Originals coming in April, they’ve certainly been split up throughout the month well.

The official trailer gives us a hint of what to expect, and just how hilarious this show is going to be. If you love the likes of Derry Girls, you’ll enjoy this one. There is a dark element to the comedy.

We get to see who Frank is, and the fact that his family is fed up of him. He’s a guy who thinks the world owes him, when really he uses everyone around him. Even his mom has had enough, leading to telling him he needs to find his own place.

It’s clear that he is selfish, but will he change when he’s forced to? And what happens when he has a friend who is enabling him to be like this?
