Most sold Amazon books last week: New Dog Man book and more enter the list
A new Dog Man book is out and naturally, it makes its way immediately to the list of most sold Amazon books last week. Here’s a full look at the list.
There are certain books you expect to immediately make it to the list of most sold books. Any new Dog Man book is one of those books. They’re extremely popular with children, and parents enjoy the storytelling too. It helps that Dav Pilkey has such a way with his illustrations and characterizations throughout his various book series.
Dog Man: Mothering Heights entered the list in eighth place. There is time for this to move up the list, which is certainly likely over the course of the next few weeks. It takes time for parents to realize a new Dog Man book is out because children’s books aren’t promoted as heavily. (At least, in my experience).
It is certainly not the only new book on the list of most sold Amazon books last week. There were seven new books including Dog Man.
Other movement on the list of most sold books
The new books weren’t the only notable mentions. As St. Patrick’s Day was last week, it wasn’t surprising to hear that more people bought How to Catch a Leprechaun by Adam Wallace. It rose 13 places to just narrowly miss out on the Top 5. The book will likely drop off the list this week.
The Midnight Library by Matt Haig gained six places to get into fourth place. Meanwhile, The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah gained the top spot back.
There were also some notable reentries. It’s Not Easy Being a Bunny by Marilyn Sadler reenters, which isn’t that surprising. Easter is just weeks away so naturally, Easter books are on the rise.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone by J.K. Rowling reentered the list after being missing for a number of weeks. It’s only in 20th place for now, but will it move up or down?
There are actually a lot of reentries toward the bottom of the list as the Dr. Seuss books dropped off.
