The Undoing and more coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week
It’s a new week, which means more shows and movies are coming to DVD and Blu-ray. The Undoing is one of the biggest releases on March 23.
Last week didn’t seem to have many big titles. This week makes up for it. Among the seven new DVD releases, there are some TV shows and movies that many people have been waiting for.
The Undoing is certainly one of the biggest and most anticipated releases. The HBO limited series quickly gained attention because of its standout cast, but the writing and story drew more people in. This was more than a mystery; it turned into a well-written, well-developed series. Now is your chance to watch it as much as you want on DVD and Blu-ray.
But what about other releases? Here are a few top picks before we get into all seven movies and shows coming to DVD this week.
News of the World, Soulmates, and more coming to DVD and Blu-ray
Let’s start with the Christmas Day movie that has only been in theaters. It’s time to see Tom Hanks in News of the World. You know you’ve wanted to!
Hanks plays a Civil War vet who has the task to get a young girl kidnapped by a Native American tribe and return her to her aunt and uncle. However, this girl was kidnapped at a young age and the tribe is all she’s known. She wants to stay, but Hanks’s character isn’t about to let that happen. He also isn’t going to take her back to her family because he finds out they’re abusive.
If you like sci-fi, Soulmates is something worth checking out. The AMC series is set in a world where you can take a test to find out who your soulmate is. This test doesn’t get it wrong, and now people have to decide whether they risk losing the people they’re with for people who may not have taken the test or remain in the dark about their true soulmate.
