Is Cherry starring Tom Holland on Amazon?
Looking to watch Tom Holland’s latest movie, Cherry? It’s now available to stream on-demand, but is that on Amazon Prime Video?
The bad news is Cherry isn’t available on Amazon Prime Video. Apple TV+ got the distribution rights and that’s the streamer that the movie has just arrived on. It’s the only streamer you can watch it on.
Chances are that this is the only streamer the movie will ever be on. Okay, never say “never” in Hollywood and the world of streaming services, but there’s just no need for Apple to share this movie with its competition. The only way it would is if it was under some sort of non-exclusive deal.
It’s going to take a lot for the Tom Holland movie to head to Amazon Prime Video, but what about other ways to watch?
Will Cherry come to Amazon Video?
Amazon doesn’t just have its streaming service. It also has the ability to watch movies through Amazon Video. You have to pay to rent or buy the movies, but it’s a great way to get access to something you want to watch without signing up for yet another streaming platform.
Is that going to be an option here? Probably not.
Apple TV+ has the distribution rights. There won’t be a need for the movie to head to DVD and Blu-ray.
Of course, this will depend on other deals. We’ll have to wait and see for confirmation.
Is the movie good?
Not sure if it’s going to be worth getting the Apple TV+ subscription? Cherry has received mixed reviews, with most on the negative side. When it comes to the acting, it’s received praise. The story is where the negativity comes into play.
It is a darker tale, leaving very few happy moments even toward the end. This is one of a former soldier suffering from PTSD and opioid addiction. It’s a reminder of the stark world we live in, and that will be triggering to many.
Cherry is available to stream on Apple TV+.
