Them gets creepy teaser trailer and April release date

Are you ready for Lena Waithe and Little Marvin’s new anthology series, Them? The teaser trailer is out now, and it is creepy as hell!

Let’s just say there are definitely feelings of Jordan Peele’s Us in the creepy teaser trailer. You’ll also get Lovecraft Country vibes. And yes, there are some American Horror Story vibes. This is going to be a show for those who love to think but also love to be scared.

And that was just a teaser trailer we got. There is still a full trailer to come as the show gets closer to the release date. Already we have a feeling of what to expect.

Them teaser trailer: Whatcha gonna do?

The teaser for Them quickly gives us an idea of what to expect in the first season of this anthology series. The idea of the series overall is to explore terror in America, and terror takes on all forms. In the first season, a Black family moving to an all-white Los Angeles neighborhood is faced with the threat of the white people in the area.

However, it’s not just about racism. There’s a malevolent force within the house. This force threatens to destroy the family, and it will do that through the people around them.

Take a look at the trailer and I urge you not to get “whatcha gonna do?” stuck in your head.

This isn’t a sequel to the movie Us, despite it feeling like it sort of could be. It’s a series completely in its own right, but there may be some inspiration from it. We’ll have to wait to find out.

One thing I know for certain is that this is the show I’m looking forward to the most in April 2021.
