Is Kim’s Convenience on Amazon?
Kim’s Convenience has been canceled after five great seasons. Can you watch those seasons on Amazon Prime Video? Where can you stream the Canadian series?
March 8 brought some disappointing news for fans of the family sitcom. Kim’s Convenience is ending after five seasons. This wasn’t a network decision but an overall decision after the two co-creators decided to move onto other projects. Instead of trying to keep the same feel to the show, everyone decided to bring the series to an end with the most recent season.
It’s definitely sad news. This is one of those inclusive and authentic shows, focused on a Korean-Canadian family. It has won a number of Canadian awards because of how awesome it is. There was so much promise for the development of individual characters on Season 6, and now it’s not going to happen.
If you’ve only just recently heard of it, you’ll want to know where you can stream it. If you’ve been waiting for the show to come to an end, you’ll want to know where you can now binge-watch all five seasons.
Is Kim’s Convenience on Amazon Prime Video?
The sad news is you can’t watch the Canadian sitcom on Amazon Prime Video for free. It’s on Netflix instead, which has been its home since 2018. That’s not too surprising. Netflix has landed a few Canadian sitcoms over the years, including Workin’ Moms and Schitts Creek.
However, you can watch it via Amazon Video. The first four seasons of the series are currently available to purchase. It’s up to you whether you get them separately or with the Season Pass.
The fifth season will eventually become available. The Canadian show doesn’t release the episodes weekly for Digital purchase like American shows. You’ll need to wait until the full season has aired with the episodes being made available together.
