Are you looking for something to watch this week? There isn’t much arriving on Amazon Prime Video, but here are the shows and movies on Amazon to watch.

Amazon Prime Video isn’t the only place that’s quiet right now. Many streaming services are struggling for a lot of content each week, especially fresh content. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing to watch though.

While there are some shows and movies on Amazon Prime Video to watch, we’re turning to BritBox, STARZ, and Acorn TV for content to stream throughout the week.

Remember that there are always the many titles that dropped on Amazon on the first of the month still. Some of those titles are only around for this month, so you’ll want to use these quiet weeks to your advantage.

5 shows and movies on Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Channels to check out this week

This list is in order of the titles being released throughout the week.

Love My Way — Acorn TV

We start the week with Acorn TV offering us content. Love My Way Season 3 arrives on Monday, March 8. The rest of the content for the week is on Friday, March 12.

The Australian series originally aired in 2007 and Acorn TV already has the first two seasons. The third season will drop as a binge-watch. It starts off the back of the second season, with Frankie and Lewis in their new family home, but it comes with a shocking twist of fate.

Honest Thief — Amazon Prime Video

The end of the week is when we see most of the content coming out. One of the movies to check out is Honest Thief. It’s on Amazon Prime Video, so you don’t need to worry about wasting any money in case you’re on the fence.

Liam Neeson stars as a thief who has managed to get away with his bank robberies for so long. When he meets a woman, he wants to hand over the money and live an honest life. There is a chance to make a deal until he’s framed for murder. Now he needs to prove that he didn’t do it.

Making Their Mark — Amazon Prime Video

If you love the various seasons of All or Nothing, you’ll want to check out Making Their Mark. This series follows six teams in the Australian Football League to see everything it takes to reach the top.

This isn’t just about the players. The series looks at the coaches and at the owners of the teams for this popular and intense sport.

Step Up: High Water — STARZ

The first episode of Step Up: High Water dropped on STARZ on Friday, March 5. The premium cable network hasn’t made a lot of noise about the series, so you may have missed it. There’s still time to watch the first episode and you can catch the second episode this coming Friday.

Already recognize the title? It was originally on YouTube before the video platform canceled all its original content. STARZ saved the show and renewed it for a third season at the same time. If you happened to miss the series that continues the Step Up franchise, now is the chance.

Open All Hours — BritBox

Britain has had some of the best comedy programs, and Open All Hours is one of those sitcoms. Ronnie Barker, Lynda Baron, and David Jason star in this series as Arkwright, Nurse Gladys, and Granville.

Arkwright runs a grocery shop and is in love with Nurse Gladys, a woman who lives opposite the shop. No matter how often Arkwright asks, Gladys always turns him down. Meanwhile, he continues to run the shop with his nephew, Granville, helping. There’s also a dangerous till to handle.
