Amazon Prime Video is adding more than 50 titles today
Are you looking for some new content to check out on Amazon Prime Video? You’re in a lot of luck. There’s plenty arriving today, March 1.
The large drop shouldn’t be that surprising. It’s the first of the month, which is traditionally when Amazon releases the majorty of the new content arriving throughout a month. In this case, there are 58 out of the 68 titles in total arriving.
The content is made up of third-party movies and TV shows. In fact, the TV shows are all the Amazon Channels samples, which has become common since the start of the pandemic. Not only does it offer extra content for Amazon, but it also opens up the various Amazon Channels to more potential subscribers.
What can you watch on Amazon Prime Video today? There really is something for everyone.
London Kills, The Terminal, and more
We know all about ET The Extra-Terrestrial and Back to the Future. They’re likely on around for a month, but there are other movies that could be around for a little longer.
The Terminal is one of them. Starring Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones, the whole movie is inside a terminal, a place that Viktor Navorski is not allowed to leave or else he’ll be arrested. Officials need to confirm his identity while war rages in his home country. It leads to some amusing moments.
Rain Man is another movie that’s back on Amazon Prime Video. Tom Cruise plays a selfish car dealer, Charlie. When he finds out his late father gave half the inheritance to his autistic brother Raymond (Dustin Hoffman), Charlie kidnaps Raymond with the intention to manipulate Raymond into handing over the money.
There are also some great TV shows, although they’ll only be around for a month. Look out for London Kills if you’re a fan of TV crime dramas. The gritty UK drama focuses on a London-based team investigating some of the worst murders. The second season is on Acorn TV.
The Returned is available thanks to Sundance Now. It’s a mystery that involves a group of strangers returning to their homes after years of being dead. Why are they back and what is going on?
