While it’s been quiet on Amazon Prime Video, we still end the month with some good Amazon movies. Here’s what to watch this weekend.

There is plenty to check out from earlier in the month. You’ve likely still got a few of those Feb. 1 movies to watch before they leave the streaming service—yeah, some only stick around for a month.

However, there’s also some excellent content that has dropped during this week. You can turn to Amazon Prime Video and Amazon Channels to find something to watch.

5 good Amazon movies to check out this weekend

We start with two releases on Amazon Prime Video. After that, we’ll be looking at Amazon Channels to help us with good Amazon movies.

The Informer

We start the list with the release from this week on Amazon Prime Video. The Informer stars Joel Kinnaman as an ex-con who wants to remain clean. However, he’s a criminal informant and that ends up with him going back behind bars as he tries to keep his family safe.

When his life is at risk from both the gang he’s trying to shut down and the FBI who he’s the informant for, he has to figure out a way to get free alone. For those who like action, this is the movie for you.

The Map of Tiny Perfect Things

Need a bit of romance in your life? The Map of Tiny Perfect Things was the Valentine’s Weekend release, but it’s something you need to check out now if you haven’t. This is more than just a romance. It’s more of a coming-of-age story mixed with a Groundhog Day-like event.

Two teenagers find themselves stuck in a time loop. What happens when one of them isn’t ready to move on from the time loop? Will they ever get out?

Bill & Ted movies

Need some comedy? We’re turning to Amazon Channels for our good Amazon movies now. The first two Bill & Ted movies are on HBO this weekend. Yeah, you’re getting six movies this weekend to watch.

The first movie introduces the characters as failing high school students who use a time machine to pass their history final. In the second movie, the two are killed by robot versions of themselves and they play a few games against Death to get their lives back.

Blade Runner 2049

Loved Blade Runner? How about the revival Blade Runner 2049? The movie is on HBO right now.

It follows K, an LAPD officer who unearths a secret that could unleash chaos around the world. Instead of doing that, he looks for a former blade runner who has spent the past three decades away from everyone. In fact, he’s technically missing—or maybe he just doesn’t want to be found.

Jobs

You know about Steve Jobs. Do you know just how he came up with the Apple company? It’s time to find out.

Jobs is the 2013 movie about the infamous late Apple CEO. We get to see him and his friend Steve Wozniak co-found Apple Inc. However, the two aren’t destined to run the company together forever.
