Not sure about what to watch during March 2021? Amazon Prime Video has some great content. Here are five TV shows on Amazon you’ll want to check out.

Whether you want crime, mystery, or comedy, there is something for all when it comes to TV shows on Amazon Prime Video in March 2021. That’s despite it being a much quieter month than it has been in recent years. Streaming platforms are struggling with the production shutdowns from early to mid-2020.

The good news is some content was well enough underway that it didn’t take long to wrap up the rest of it once production opened up. Many of the Amazon Channels are also still offering the first seasons of their shows to entice people into the streaming platforms.

With so much to watch, you’ll want to narrow down your options. Here are the five must-watch TV shows on Amazon in March 2021.

5 TV shows on Amazon you need to check out next month

London Kills

If you love gritty TV crime dramas, London Kills is one of the TV shows on Amazon you need to check out. Only the first season is available on Prime throughout March, with the second season available through Acorn TV.

The series follows an elite murder investigation squad in London (funnily enough) led by Detective Inspector David Bradford. Bradford’s wife has been missing for three months, with a case that even he can’t solve. Will anything ever turn up?

The Returned

Like a good mystery? You’ll need to turn to the Sundance Now series The Returned. Calton Cuse and Raelle Tucker EP’d the series which focused on a group of locals who return randomly. Not so weird? How about they all died several years ago? Nobody expected them to return.

Naturally, the return brings a lot of challenges on physical and emotional levels. There are some people happy, but others have grieved and moved on. It’s a series that will pull you in from start to finish.

Invincible

This animated series needs very little introduction. Chances are you’ve been waiting for it ever since you heard it was in the works. Invincible is based on the comic series of the same name with Steven Yuen voicing the main character.

The story focuses on a teenage boy who is also the son of a superhero. As he comes into his powers, he needs to live up to the example his father has set. Just normal teenage boy things, then, right?

Making Their Mark

For those who adore sport, you’ll want to turn your attention to Making Their Mark. This series looks at the Australian Football League, covering six teams—players, coaches, and executives—to see the hard work that goes into the elite sport.

Fans will get to see never-before-scene footage. There’s also a chance to go behind the scenes in ways many have only ever dreamed of.

Check out Making Their Mark on March 12.

La Templanza

Love a period drama? How about a story based on a beautifully crafted book? La Templanza follows the story of Mauro Larrea and Soledad Montalove. They were just two strangers who found their destinies crossed, changing their lives forever.

The story is set in the second half of the 19th century. It takes us through the story of glory and defeat, whether it’s business or family.

Check out La Templanza on March 26.
