With the release of the new Sarah J. Maas book, A Court of Silver Flames, it wasn’t surprising to see it on the list of most sold Amazon books.

The book didn’t enter all that high, but it did release partway through the week. There’s a good chance this fantasy novel will rise up the list throughout the week.

A Court of Silver Flames is the first spin-off novel from A Court of Thorns and Roses, and it’s perfect for fantasy fans. If you haven’t read Maas’s other novels, you’ll want to check out the main series first.

It wasn’t the only new novel on the list, either. Hana Deleon, Lauren Landish, and J.D. Robb all entered the list, with Robb’s Faithless in Death entering the highest.

1984 dropped the most, The Vanishing Half rose

There were some big movers on the list of most sold Amazon books during the week. George Orwell’s 1984 dropped eight places, landing in 20th place during the week. It’s hard to say what will happen to the novel next as it’s one of those that joins the list when there’s nothing really going on in the world to warrant it.

The Shadow Box by Luanne Rice also dropped a substantial amount. It lost six places to hold into the Top 15.

Meanwhile, The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab gained three places on the list. Brit Bennett’s The Vanishing Half got back into the Top 5 by gaining two places during the week.
