The Croods 2 and more coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week

It’s a new week, which means more movies and TV shows are heading to DVD and Blu-ray. The Croods 2 is among the DVD releases happening on Feb. 23.

The list may be updated by the time Tuesday gets here. It certainly happens usually with TV shows suddenly added to the list of releases. For example, last week, Fam: The Complete Series was suddenly added to the list of DVD releases for the week. CBS had a habit of adding things at the last minute.

However, for now, there are six releases happening this week. There’s a good mixture of movies, but the top releases are certainly geared toward families.

Family movies getting DVD releases next week

Feb. 23 sees the release of two family movies that you’ll not want to miss. The first is The Croods: A New Age.

It’s the second movie in the story, although it’s taken some time to create. That’s okay! It took The Incredibles more than a decade to bring its sequel, but the storyline was able to pick straight back up off the first movie.

That’s what happens here. The Croods and Guy are now in their new home, but they need to get used to this life. What happens when they run into people from Guy’s past?

Another family movie is Scooby-Doo! The Sword and the Scoob. It’s an excellent take on The Sword and the Stone, and is perfect for all the Scooby-Doo fans in the house. This one even includes Nick Frost and Jason Isaacs doing voices, so it’s not to be missed.
