What to watch on Amazon this weekend: The Rental and more
It’s another quiet weekend when it comes to things to watch on Amazon. Here’s a list of arrivals throughout the weekend.
If you’re struggling to find something new to watch on Amazon this weekend, that’s understandable. There’s very little dropping throughout the weekend, with the majority of releases happening on Friday, Feb. 19.
Amazon Prime Video is very quiet. This is a weekend to check out the new shows: Tell Me Your Secrets and The Boarding School, but don’t expect anything new to drop. It’s going to be a quiet week, too.
You’ll want to turn to Amazon Channels to help. Even then things are on the quieter side compared to normal. This is the point many networks and streaming services are struggling due to the production shutdowns last year.
What to watch on Amazon Channels this weekend
STARZ has you covered on Sunday, Feb. 21. There is a new episode of American Gods to kick things off, and then you can follow on with new episodes of Men in Kilts and The Luminaries.
Remember that the shows drop on the STARZ App at midnight. You’ll be able to watch them with your Amazon Channels subscription.
If you have SHOWTIME, the movie The Rental is available on Saturday, Feb. 20. It follows two couples on a getaway near the ocean. Their new rental house seems to be perfect, but they soon realize that there’s something sinister around them. Who or what is spying on them?
The extended version of the 2012 movie Argo drops on HBO during the weekend. This is also a good weekend to catch up on 30 Coins.
If you’re into TV crime dramas, BritBox has you covered with Honour. The Keeley Hawes series was a two-part limited series in the UK but dropped as a full TV movie on the streaming service.
Next week remains on the quieter side, but we should get the March listings soon to plan out content to watch in the coming weeks.
