Modern Love Season 2 is happening, but we don’t know too much about it just yet. This hub will be updated regularly with everything we do know.

It’s hard to say when shows are going to be released right now. However, there is a good chance that Modern Love Season 2 will arrive in 2021.

Renewed back in 2019, it was one of those shows affected by the pandemic. Just as it started production, it was shut down. However, production restarted back in September 2020. There have been no reported stoppages since, so that will hopefully mean the series arrives sometime this year.

Here’s what we do know about the Modern Love Season 2 release date, cast, and much more.

Modern Love Season 2 release date

There isn’t a release date yet, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It just means Amazon hasn’t scheduled it because production hasn’t finished yet. After production, the show will need to go through post-production.

The second season was supposed to arrive in 2020, but due to delays in production that didn’t happen. 2021 seems likely at this point.

Update (May 26, 2021): Modern Love Season 2 will premiere on Friday, Aug. 13. All eight episodes will drop at once.

Update (May 26, 2021): Tobias Menzies and Sophie Okonedo have joined the cast for an episode. Their episode will be directed by Modern Love‘s showrunner John Carney.

There isn’t a trailer for the season just yet. That’s not uncommon. Amazon tends to release trailers about a month before the release date, so we’re not expecting one for a while.

We’ll be sure to share the trailer as soon as it’s available.

Modern Love Season 2 synopsis

There isn’t a synopsis. Again, that’s not uncommon considering the show isn’t releasing any time soon.

The premise of the season is the same as the first. It’s all about love, but not just romantic love. There’s the love of family and of friends, there’s love of one’s self. It’s all about the different types of love in the world, and that is sure to continue in the second season.
