Amazon is stepping up its movie releases to kick-off 2021. The latest one is Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse starring Michael B. Jordan.

It’s been a hard start to the year for streaming services. While the production shutdowns affect broadcast networks in the fall, the streaming networks had plenty available until this point of the cycle. Now Amazon, Netflix, and more are struggling with content.

Amazon is picking things up with movies. January had the likes of Herself and One Night in Miami, while February has The Map of Tiny Pretty Things and Bliss. We already know Coming 2 America is one of the March releases.

Now we’re looking ahead to April, which is when Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse is going to premiere. Get April 30 in your diary for this Michael B. Jordan movie.

What is Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse about?

You already know Jack Ryan, but what does Without Remorse follow? Is it another one that follows the character Jack Ryan?

Certainly not. This one follows John Clark, who is from the Jack Ryan universe. Clark is an elite Navy SEAL who wants to figure out who killed his pregnant wife. It’s the origin story of this justice-seeking, conspiracy-uncovering hero.

Jodie Turner-Smith and Jamie Bell will join Michael B. Jordan in this explosive movie. However, Clark has been renamed Kelly, but the story is still very similar. After Russian soldiers kills his family, Kelly heads on a mission to take them down. Along with a fellow SEAL and a CIA agent, he uncovers a plot that threatens war between Russia and the United States.

Now Kelly has to choose between loyalty to his country or his personal need for revenge and justice. Which one will he choose?

This isn’t just about a movie, either. Jordan’s production company Outlier Society has teamed up with Amazon Studios in a television and first-look film deal. Their deal is also one of cross-collaborations, covering fashion, music, Audible, and much more.
