It only seems like yesterday that the pilot even aired. This show remained with us for 15 years, and on Nov. 19, 2020, it was time to say goodbye. Whether you loved or hated the series finale, you probably want to add the final season to your DVD and Blu-ray collection.
The Supernatural Season 15 DVD release date is officially set for Tuesday, May 25, 2021. It wasn’t available to pre-order at the time of writing this, but that’s not surprising. The date had just been announced. You’ll be able to pre-order very soon.
You can get the 15th season on both DVD and Blu-ray. With the Blu-ray boxset, you’ll also get the Digital download code so you can watch wherever you want.
Supernatural Season 15 DVD release date: What to expect
What will you get on the boxset? Both the DVD and Blu-ray will bring all 20 episodes of the 15th season. Fans will remember that the season was split in two due to the pandemic. When the shutdown happened in March, the show still had two episodes to film.
Rather than airing all 18 and then waiting months for the final two episodes, the show stopped at Episode 13, giving post-production time to get through the backlog of episodes over the summer. The show finished its run with seven weeks of episodes to get us to the series finale.
It is bittersweet, but the Supernatural Season 15 DVD will also include all the best parts of the show: the deleted scenes and the gag reel.
On top of that, you’ll get bonus featurettes, giving you a chance to say goodbye to the series all over again.
