There is some bad news this weekend. There isn’t a new episode on tonight. Nor is there a rerun.
What’s going on with the STARZ schedule? After all, isn’t there a new episode of In the Long Run on tonight?
There is a new episode of the British comedy, but that’s likely due to the show being an acquisition and the ratings not being as much of a problem as putting on a new episode of American Gods.
American Gods is a STARZ Original, and there’s no way the premium cable network will want to go up against something like the Super Bowl. Sure, sometimes this does happen with other shows and with the app it shouldn’t matter, but STARZ is playing it safe with our favorite show for those who only watch through the channel.
It’s not uncommon for breaks in the season, especially after big moments. And Episode 4 certainly left us with some major cliffhangers for various characters! The new episode will air on Sunday, Feb. 14.
What to expect on American Gods Season 3, Episode 5
Episode 5 will pick up with Shadow heading off to get to Wednesday. He doesn’t want much to do with Wednesday, but he knows how important this guy is in the upcoming war between the Old Gods and the New Gods.
The fourth episode also left Bilquis with ending her identity crisis. She is ready to become the woman (and the goddess) she wants to be, rather than be the woman that others expect her or tell her to be. It was a huge moment for her character and means a lot of exciting things to come.
American Gods Season 3, Episode 5 will certainly be worth the wait.
