Bliss is coming to Amazon Prime Video tonight

Ready for a movie that will make you think? Bliss, starring Owen Wilson, is coming to Amazon Prime Video tonight, and here’s all you need to know about it.

You don’t have to wait too long to watch the sci-fi movie. As a global original, it will arrive at midnight GMT on Friday, Feb. 5. That means those in North America are getting it a little sooner.

There’s a strong chance that it will arrive by Thursday, Feb. 4 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. There isn’t a guarantee of this, but all recent Amazon Original Movies and Series have arrived earlier than the stated date.

What is Bliss about?

Mike Cahill has directed this sci-fi movie that is a little like The Matrix when you first look at it. Owen Wilson plays Greg, a man who is in a boring, downtrodden world. He is fed up with life and tends to make promises that he can’t keep, including going to his daughter’s graduation.

However, one day, he finds himself in a beautiful world with Salma Hayek’s Isabel. She tells him that the darker world is just a simulation, a world to make sure people don’t take the beautiful world for granted. In this beautiful world, he’s alone without his daughter.

Soon, the two worlds start meshing together. Greg and Isabel need to figure out which world is the real one. Are they willing to say goodbye to the people they care about in the dark world or could that be the real world after all? And what happens when they start to figure out the truth?
