5 biggest questions for The Expanse Season 6

We know The Expanse Season 6 is happening, which is a good thing considering the ending to Season 5. Here are the five big questions for the season.

A lot happened in The Expanse Season 5 finale. While most of the episode was focused on saving Naomi, we pretty much just got the calm before the storm. The Martian traitor involvement with Marco’s Free Navy is now known, and Avasarala has a lot of work to do to protect the Earthers and the innocent Martians and Belters.

Then there are the individual storylines for various characters. Many have changed position, with a new crew member on the Roci and Bobbie now on Luna as two of the biggest changes.

So, what are the biggest questions for The Expanse Season 6? Let’s get into them.

The Expanse Season 6 needs to answer these questions

Is there something going on within the ring gates?

At the very start of Season 5, Holden told Fred about the creatures inside the ring gates. He can feel their anger when he goes through them. He’s not sure why, but that doesn’t matter right now.

During the Season 5 finale’s ending, we watched as the Admiral’s Martian ship went through. Time stood still and we got what looked like the creatures inside the ring gates. Is this something that’s going to come up? Will they affect the Admiral?

Can Camina and Oksana make up?

Camina’s unit is broken. That’s not surprising considering everything that happened in the Season 5 finale. Camina went against what they agreed on, leading to Marco now out for blood.

However, all those opposing Marco will need to work together. Can Camia and Oksana make up after everything that’s happened?

Will Holden and Naomi accept Peaches

Amos made a decision without checking with the rest of the crew. He brought Peaches on the Roci, and not just for a quick trip. She’s going to be part of the crew.

While Amos has got to know her, Holden and Naomi haven’t yet. They just know her from her actions during The Expanse Season 3. How long will it take for them to accept Peaches (and will they call her that or Clarissa?)

Will Avasarala listen to Bobbie’s advice?

Bobbie is now an adviser to Avasarala. Bobbie certainly needs this position considering how Mars is failing and Bobbie has always been there to help since her introduction in Season 2.

Will Avasarala listen to the advice though? Avasarala does tend to listen to good advice, so we should be able to say yes. However, pride can sometimes get in the way of anyone. It’s also not going to be easy if everyone has an opinion that differs from Bobbie.

How will they all stop Marco and the traitor Martians?

There is a lot working against Avasarala, the Roci, and all the others against Marco. The Free Navy is growing and the Martians have the protomolecule.

The potential only way to deal with some of this is to get rid of the ring gates somehow, but how is that possible? Of course, if you’ve read the books, you know how Marco is handled. That doesn’t mean the show will follow the same storyline though.
