7 new DVD releases happening this week: Wild Mountain Thyme and more

It’s a new week, which means plenty of new DVD releases. In fact, there are seven DVD and Blu-ray releases coming on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

Wild Mountain Thyme is just one of the seven new DVD and Blu-rays this week. Starring Jamie Dornan and Emily Blunt, it focuses on Anthony Reilly and Rosemary Muldoon. Anthony is upset that his father plans to sell the family farm to his nephew in the States, while Rosemary has her heart set on a future with Anthony but he seems oblivious to it.

The 2020 movie received mixed reviews from critics but audiences were favorable about it. For those who love Dornan and Blunt and those who adore romance movies, this is for you.

Notable DVD releases happening this week

Diane Lane and Kevin Costner star in Let Him Go, which is on the list of DVD releases for Tuesday, Feb. 2. After the death of their son, a couple learns that their grandson has been adopted by a family in the Dakotas. This family is far away from law enforcement and modern amenities, so they head out on a mission to get their grandson back.

Naturally, their relationship is tested. They also need to battle survivalists and those looking to manipulate them in their grief.

Those in need for a horror movie will want to pay attention to Host, which is finally coming to DVD and Blu-ray. Six friends decide to hire a medium, and it’s all done through a Zoom meeting.

It all starts as a bit of fun, but soon they realize the meeting is more effective than they initially thought. Now they need to fight the invading spirits in their homes.
