Amazon new releases: More than 50 titles are joining Prime this week
There are 51 new TV shows and movies joining Amazon Prime Video this week. It’s time to look at the Amazon new releases between Feb. 1 and Feb. 5.
The majority of the new titles are arriving on Feb. 1. That’s not surprising. All streaming services have their big releases on the first of the month, giving us something to watch later in the month when things start to get quiet.
However, there are some additions toward the end of the week. One of those is a new Amazon Original Movie.
Let’s look at everything coming to Amazon Prime Video this week.
Antz, The Village, The White Princess, and more
The first day of the month sees 48 Amazon new releases. There are some that will be on Amazon for a while and others that are only available for this month.
As usual, this month as some Amazon Channels offerings. For the most part, you’ll get the first season of popular shows, getting you into the show and then encouraging you to sign up to the various Amazon Channels to continue watching.
The White Princess is one of the big releases for STARZ. Billions Seasons 1 to 3 are made available thanks to SHOWTIME. And those looking for something for the kids, What’s New Scooby-Doo? Season 1 is on available thanks to Boomerang.
If you prefer movies, there are some coming that will be available past February. Look out for Antz for the family, The Village for horror fans, and The Prestige for period dramas.
Amazon new releases at the end of the week
The end of the week sees three Amazon new releases. Bliss is the biggest release. Owen Wilson stars in this new Amazon Original Movie, which focuses on a man who learns that his dark and dull universe isn’t real. It’s a computer-generated reality made to appreciate the good all the more. But is that really the generated reality?
Greenland comes to Amazon Prime Video at the end of the week. Starring Gerald Butler, it sees the end of the world due to asteroids hitting the planet. A man needs to get his family to Greenland if he wants to even consider survival.
If you prefer series, Little Coincidences Season 3 drops on Amazon Prime Video in full.
