It’s time for the first episode of Saturday Night Live of 2021, and we’ve got a special host. John Krasinski gets his shot, and here’s how to watch live.

Krasinski hosting the series has been a long time coming. He was meant to host back in March 2020, but his appearance was canceled due to the pandemic. SNL‘s production shut down just like so many others.

We knew eventually he would get the chance again. It was all just a case of finding the perfect time. And he’s found it.

Joining him as the musical guest is Machine Gun Kelly.

What to expect on Saturday Night Live with John Krasinski

There is a lot of pressure on for the lead of Amazon’s Jack Ryan series. This isn’t just the first episode of 2021, but it’s the first episode since Joe Biden took office. That means a lot of pressure on him to be funny.

He’s got it covered though, right? This is the guy who often stole the show on The Office.

The question is which shows will be covered when it comes to his skits. When Rachel Brosnahan hosted the show, she had a Marvelous Mrs. Maisel sketch in there. Will we get to see Jack Ryan in action or will it mostly be focused on The Office or even The Quiet Place?

Either way, we’re just happy to see him get to host.

There are other hosts to look forward to, too. Dan Levy will host on Feb. 6 and One Night in Miami director Regina King will host on Feb. 13. Get ready for a spectacular month.
