While the Bridgerton books continue to remain relatively steady on the list of most sold Amazon books, there were five new additions during the week.

It’s not surprising the Bridgerton books remain steady on the list. The TV show is one of the most popular additions on Netflix, despite being released more than a month ago.

As Bridgerton Book 1 remains at the top of the list, Book 2 gained a spot to land in second place. Bridgerton Season 2 has just been confirmed and the second book will be the main focus. Expect the book to move up into first place next week as more people read to get ahead.

It wasn’t the only mover on the list. 1984 by George Orwell gained three spots on the list this week to get into third place. It’s not clear what has caused this classic novel to get back on the list and move so high up, except that it’s just the state of the world with lockdowns due to the pandemic.

New books on the list of most sold Amazon books last week

There were five new additions to the list between Jan. 17 and Jan. 23. The first of those was Reclaimed by Jaymin Eve, which landed in fifth place.

The next two books entered within the top 10, and one of them is great for children. It looks like parents are getting ready for Valentine’s Day with their kids by getting Alice Schertle’s Little Blue Truck’s Valentine.

The other two new books were toward the bottom of the list. The Scorpion’s Tail by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child entered in 15th place, while From Blood and Ash by Jennifer L. Armentrout entered in 18th place.

There’s plenty of time for those books to be on the move this week.
