When will The Marksman DVD and Blu-ray release date be?

Liam Neeson is back with a particular set of skills needed for a certain job. The Marksman is out in theaters right now, but when can you get it on DVD and Blu-ray?

There isn’t a release date for The Marksman on DVD just yet. That’s not surprising since the movie only came to limited theaters on Jan. 15, 2021. It’s going to take time for a DVD date to be set.

We can make an educated guess on the release date, though. The movie is an Open Road Films movie, which is the same as Neeson’s Honest Thief, also released during the pandemic. It took about two months for Honest Thief to go from theaters to DVD, so we could possibly expect the same timing for The Marksman.

With this in mind, we’re looking at the middle to the end of March 2021 for The Marksman on DVD.

What is The Marksman about?

This is a very standard Liam Neeson movie. He’s a former Marine who ends up with the job of protecting a young boy from a Mexican cartel.

Of course, he needs to use the skills that he gained from his time in the Marines as well as the skills he has gained in life since. If he fails to protect the young boy, the cartel is sure to kill them both, so it really is a matter of life or death.

If you love movies like Taken and you enjoyed Honest Thief, you’ll find a lot to love in this movie. It’s formulaic, but is that always a problem? Sometimes, you need action movies that you can rely on to tell a particular story, right?

It doesn’t have the greatest reviews from critics on Rotten Tomatoes, but Neeson’s acting is praised.
