Greenland trailer: Gerald Butler disaster film comes to Amazon Prime Video
The Greenland trailer is out and it has a release date on Amazon Prime Video
A lot of movies are coming out very differently to what we’re used to. That’s the case for Greenland, which is already coming to Amazon Prime Video. Take a look at the Greenland trailer to see what this Gerald Butler movie is all about.
It’s another disaster movie. This time, a comet has broken up and it’s heading for Earth. Everything that has been reported on the news is either a lie or is a mistake because it soon turns out that the comet pieces aren’t part of a gather-around-the-TV event but a catastrophic one.
There is a bunker in Greenland. Everyone is heading there, and Butler’s character, John, will do everything he can to get his family there.
Just how far would you go for your family? What would you be willing to do during a world-ending event?

One thing I like about the trailer is that it doesn’t give everything away. You think it does, but when you watch the movie, you realize that not everything is as it seems. It’s well created.

Here’s the official movie synopsis:
"A family fights for survival as a planet-killing comet races to Earth. John Garrity (Gerard Butler), his estranged wife Allison (Morena Baccarin), and young son Nathan make a perilous journey to their only hope for sanctuary."
While the movie is currently available through VOD, it’s coming to Amazon Prime Video on Feb. 5, 2021. It’s one of the latest releases getting an early release on streaming services as production studios figure out a way to manage the changes to movies with theaters being closed.
For those who were on the fence, catching it on streaming is often preferred. This is a great chance to see if it will be worth buying on DVD and Blu-ray.
