The Wilds was one of Amazon’s best shows of 2020, renewed for a second season a week after its release. It’s only right that it becomes on of the 50 best TV shows on Amazon to watch right now.

Why is The Wilds one of the best

At a first glance, The Wilds looks like it will be a teenage version of LOST. It focuses on a group of nine teenagers who end up trapped on an island after their plane crashes. They were supposed to be on their way to an exclusive retreat in Hawaii and end up having to learn a few survival skills.

While out in the wilderness, they figure out more about themselves and each other. It’s a coming of age story that sees these women learn more about what makes them tick, deal with the troubles in their own lives, and try to figure out purely how to survive being a teenage girl and stuck in the wilderness.

However, not all is as it seems. The plane crash wasn’t an accident. It may not have been a crash at all.

There are a lot of questions that develop over the course of the season. Not all of them are answered by the end, leaving us needing more. The Wilds Season 2 is confirmed, so at least we’ll get some answers.
