The 5 Amazon shows coming in 2021 and beyond viewers are most excited about

There are so many TV shows to look forward to on Amazon Prime Video. Some of them are definitely coming in 2021, while other Amazon shows may take a little longer.

Those that will take longer will be worth the wait. They’re the shows that have been on our minds for a few years now or have had some delays in filming due to the pandemic.

This list is made up of picks from users on TV Time, the app that lets you track the shows you’ve watched and the ones you’re excited to see. The data has been collected to figure out which Amazon shows are the most highly anticipated. The list is also made up of new shows rather than new seasons of current shows.

Let’s get straight into the five most anticipated Amazon shows coming in 2021 (and beyond).

5. Daisy Jones & The Six

Daisy Jones & The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid was one of the big book releases of 2019. It tells the story of the rise and fall of music in the 1970s, and fans of the novel were excited when Reese Witherspoon’s production company chose to pick it up for a series and that Amazon had greenlit it.

Riley Keough stars in the 13-episode series. She’ll play Daisy Jones, a solo artist in the ’70s who teams up with The Six, a traditional rock band, to make music. They had a one-of-a-kind album but then broke up as quickly as they got together, and the series will tell that story.

Sam Claflin will play Billy Dunne, the rocker and lead of The Six. His choice of lifestyle is part of the reason the team-up with Daisy came to an abrupt ending, and it will be exciting to see The Hunger Games actor take on this type of role.

We don’t have a release date yet. There is a lot of hope that it will arrive by the end of 2021.
