Cobra Kai has been on the move over the years. It was originally a YouTube Red series, but despite filming the third season, the streamer decided to close its doors to original content. Like Wayne, the show had to find a new home.

While Amazon Prime Video picked up Wayne, Netflix was the streamer to get its hands on Cobra Kai. It is now a Netflix Original, with the third season now available to binge-watch.

With it being a Netflix Original now, it’s extremely unlikely that Amazon will get to stream it. There’s just no reason for Netflix to share its original content as the biggest streamer around. It makes more sense to keep the content as exclusive as possible.

Will Cobra Kai come to Amazon Video?

If not on Amazon Prime Video, how about Cobra Kai being available to purchase on Amazon Video? Will the show be available on Digital?

Probably not, but there is some slightly good news if you’re looking for it on DVD.

The series has become available on DVD in the past. Both the first two seasons came to DVD internationally. However, there isn’t a U.S. release.

If you have a DVD player that is set to different regions or is region-free, then you could grab the first two seasons now. Will the third season become available? Probably not.

What I will say is that if you don’t have a Netflix subscription but you want to watch Cobra Kai, it is worth it. It’s especially good for the fans of the original movie. But, shh, don’t tell Amazon we said that!
