Canceled or renewed: All the Amazon shows with unknown fates

Finally, we come to a show that premiered on Oct. 30, 2020. Nick Frost and Simon Pegg brought us a horror-comedy in the form of Truth Seekers.

Frost stars as Gus, an internet provider’s top technician. He’s given a new employee to shadow him, and this starts to open up the world of the supernatural. Ghosts may or may not be real, but it’s soon clear that there is a much bigger conspiracy.

This is one of those Amazon shows that is clearly meant to offer more. It ended with a relatively large cliffhanger, and everyone involved has said they’d be more than interested in returning for a second season. Now we just need Amazon to say yes.

It is a little worrying that it’s already January 2021 and we still haven’t heard about it. The Wilds came out in December 2020 and within a week was renewed for a second season. This could suggest that Amazon isn’t quite as happy with the viewing figures as it hoped to be.

Let’s hope there’s some good news to start the year. It is a show that deserves a second season.
