The Vanishing Half climbs back up into the Top 3 on the list of most sold Amazon books

The week of Christmas saw plenty of movement on the list of most sold Amazon booksThe Vanishing Half climbed back into the Top 3, but it wasn’t the only big mover.

We do have to note the movement from Brit Bennett’s book. The novel had gained places during the previous week to get back into the Top 5. It gained another four places in the week beginning Dec. 20 to get into second place.

Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline continues to hold onto the top spot. That’s not too surprising considering just how highly anticipated it was. Can it continue to hold that spot as we get into the new year?

Then there’s The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, which gained three spots this week to get into the Top 5.

This was a week for last-minute Christmas gifts judging by the books that have made it up the list. Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens gained four spots to get back into the Top 10, while Midnight Sun by Stephenie Meyer gained five spots.

However, the children’s books like Cat Kid Comic Club and Dog Man: Grime and Punishment lost spots as parents had likely already got their children’s Christmas presents in order. The latter was the biggest mover on the list of most sold Amazon books, losing seven places in total, but still holding onto a Top 15 place.

L.J. Shen continues to have success with each new book released. The Villain entered in seventh place, making it the highest new entry of the week. Brushfire by Craig Alanson and Magic Tree House Cooks 1-4 Ebook Collection by Mary Pope Osborne were the other two new entries of the week.
