Two movies are coming to Amazon Video on Digital this week

Ending 2020 on a high with Digital releases isn’t happening. Two movies are heading to Amazon Video to purchase this week.

One of the movies is available on Tuesday, Dec. 29. It did get a theatrical release date already back in September, and it is coming to DVD and Blu-ray on the same date.

We’re waiting until Friday, Jan. 1 for the other movie. It’s coming to theaters at the same time.

This is all that’s confirmed at the time of writing this. There are often other Digital releases added closer to the date, so look out for them if you love to purchase from Amazon Video.

Which two movies are coming to Amazon Video this week?

The Last Shift is the Tuesday release. Starring Richard Jenkins and Shane Paul McGhie, it focuses on a fast-food worker who is close to retirement. Before he goes, he wants to pass on all his words of wisdom to a younger employee.

Will that younger employee take on everything the retiring employee has to say? Will it all fall on deaf ears? We all know what it’s like to be younger thinking we know better, right?

Shadow in the Cloud is the Friday release, starring Chloe Grace Moretz and Nick Robinson. It follows a World War II pilot traveling on a B-17 Flying Fortress with top-secret documents. When there’s suddenly some sort of evil presence on board, the pilot has to do everything possible to protect those documents.

Unlike the list of DVD releases, there isn’t much on the list for Digital releases in January 2021 just yet. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for more releases as they come, though.
