When will Wonder Woman 1984 come to DVD and Blu-ray?

Wonder Woman 1984 was one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2020. Despite delays, it is still the one top movie everyone wants to watch this year.

The good news is the Wonder Woman sequel is finally coming to theaters. It is out on Dec. 25, and it’s coming to HBO Max at the same time. Whether you want to head to theaters or stay at home, you have the choice without missing out.

But what about those who want to own Wonder Woman 1984 on DVD and Blu-ray? Will the movie get a physical release, and when will that be?

Don’t worry too much about it not coming to DVD and Blu-ray. It’s a Warner Bros. movie. There’s no way it won’t get a physical release.

Considering Warner Bros. is releasing the movie on HBO Max as well as in theaters, it’s going to lose out a little on its profit. That means the DVD release is a necessity.

When can we expect the release? It’s worth looking at the 2017 Wonder Woman movie and the 2020 Birds of Prey movie to get an idea. Warner Bros. tends to wait about three months to go from theaters to DVD. Sometimes that window changes, but there’s a strong chance we’ll get Wonder Woman 1984 on DVD around the end of March or the beginning of April.

Will Wonder Woman 2 get a Digital release?

What about it coming to Digital? Is there any point when it will be on HBO Max?

Well, the movie is unlikely to remain on HBO Max forever. While it is a Warner Bros. movie on a WarnerMedia streaming service, the movie is likely to jump around streaming services now and then. Plenty of other Warner Bros. movies have seen that happen since the release of HBO Max.

Not everyone wants to jump around streaming services. Warner knows Digital releases are a good financial option. There’s a good chance we’ll get a release, probably around the middle to end of March 2021.
