How did Rachel lose her hand?

At the end of Episode 2, Rachel shows that she no longer has her right hand. The stump looks to have healed well, which suggests that the girls had been on the island for a while after whatever happened to her.

We don’t have all the answers just yet. So, what happened to Rachel while on the island? How did she lose her hand?

The obvious answer is that it was in the shark attack. Is that what did it?

Once we find out, we need to see how Rachel deals with that. The loss of a limb completely changes a person. Rachel had finally reached a good place, so what is this going to do to that recovery?

What is the Twilight of Adam?

At the end of The Wilds Season 1 finale, Leah finds a room with TVs. The TVs are looking at cameras on an island. This one is full of boys, and the project is called the Twilight of Adam.

It looks like it’s the exact same situation as the girls’ experiment. However, this one looks like it’s been more successful. The boys are working together to set up a camp and create a society on the island.

Is this going to prove the opposite of what Gretchen wants? Something we have to remember is that Gretchen was counting on having Lynn/Jeanette there so that would have affected a lot. The boys likely still have their moles.

We need to learn more about the Twilight of Adam and how the boys are dealing.
