Amazon Prime Video has plenty to watch between Dec. 19 and 20

This weekend is one for catching up on shows and movies that dropped on Amazon Prime Video during the week. There are also a few offerings on Amazon Channels to pay attention to between Dec. 19 and 20.

The weekend is quiet on Amazon Prime Video with nothing new arriving. However, there is plenty to watch. The Expanse Season 5 dropped its first three episodes during the week. After this, it’s getting a weekly release, and with so much happening during each episode, each episode is going to be more than worth the wait.

Don’t forget there’s an aftershow, too. Wes Chatham and Ty Franck talk about each episode, with guest stars from the series to talk about individual character arcs and storylines.

Also streaming on Amazon Prime Video during the week

When you’re done with The Expanse, you’ll want to turn to the other TV shows and movies currently streaming. If you haven’t caught up yet, make sure you check out The Wilds from last week.

You can also watch Blackbird, a heartfelt movie about a woman who wants to choose when to die. She wants to do so surrounded by her family, but some family members aren’t ready for that.

For those who want something a little more lighthearted, this is a good weekend to stream The Grand Tour Presents: A Massive Hunt. Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond are back to doing what they do best.

Bruce Almighty also dropped on STARZ during the week. It’s an excellent comedy for Jim Carrey fans.

For those who need a docuseries, The Art of Political Murder premiered on HBO during the week. Don’t miss out on this one.
