Imogen Poots and more join Josh Brolin’s Outer Range on Amazon Prime Video
Imogen Poots is one of the big names joining Josh Brolin on Outer Range
It’s time for Amazon’s Outer Range to add more series regulars to its cast. Already starring Josh Brolin, Lili Taylor, Tamara Podemski, and Tom Pelphrey, the show has added five new cast members throughout the week.
Imogen Poots, Lewis Pullman, Noah Reid, Shaun Sipos, and Isabel Arraiza will all join the project. We get a look at the roles they’ll play in this western mystery series.
What is Outer Range about?
The series will center on Royal Abbott, played by Josh Brolin. He’s a rancher who is fighting for both his land and his family. When he discovers a mystery at the edge of the wilderness in Wyoming, he needs to figure out what it is and what it means for his family.
What that mystery will involve is hard to say. It’s possible that it will be linked to a young woman who manages to convince the Abbotts to let her camp on their land. Could that lead to them losing some of their land?
Who is joining Josh Brolin?
Poots will play Autumn, the woman who ends up camping on the Abbotts’ land. She lives life to the fullest, with no regrets. In fact, she embraces the unknown and certainly has a checkered past that could cause problems for the Abbott family.
Lewis Pullman will play Rhett Abbott, the younger son of Royal. He’s the most rebellious and has thought of nothing in life but becoming a championship bull rider. When Maria Olivares returns, Rhett starts to rethink everything in life.
Maria is played by Isabel Arraiza, a woman who left the town for college and went to school with Rhett. She’s now back, although it wasn’t what anyone thought. She wants more than a fresh start, but what exactly does that mean and what does it mean for Rhett?
Shaun Sipos is Luke Tillerman with Noah Reid playing his son Billy. The Tillersons are the archrivals to the Abbotts. Luke has a competitive streak that turns toxic, even when it involves his family. Meanwhile, Billy is the younger son who loves to sing his heart out.
While there’s a mystery, there also seems to be a family drama at the heart of this upcoming show. There’s no way you’ll want to miss out.
Outer Range doesn’t have a premiere date on Amazon Prime Video yet.
